To Cooked White Squash (Upo) With Sardines - Filipino Style Recipe
White Squash or Upo is very known
in Asian country especially Philippines. We can get more vitamins A, C that’s
why there are many food experts developed and improved in terms of cooking
recipes about this kind of vegetable “White Squash”.

Now, I will share to you the simplest
and very easy steps in white squash cooking style of many Filipino people.
Ingredients
Needed:
1 chopped white squash (Upo)
Vegetable 1 tbsp of oil
1 can of sardines (any brand) 2 tbsp of soy sauce
2 chopped clove garlic ¼ tsp of iodized salt
1 chopped onion
Cooking
Procedure:
1.
First, preheat 1 tbsp oil in the pot.
2.
Then put the chopped garlic and mixed it until brownish.
3.
Next with the chopped onions and continue mixing it.
4.
Put chopped white squash, sardines and continue mixing it slowly.
5.
After mixing, allow or cooked it within 15 minutes in the pot.
6.
After 15 minutes in cooking, Put 2
tbsp of soy sauce and ¼ tsp of iodized salt and slowly mixed it. (iodized salt
is optional, for me I used only soy sauce).
7.
Cover it
again within three to five minutes.
8.
After that, our white squash is already cooked, we can now served
and eat the delicious vegetable food recipe. “White squash with sardines”.
